A renowned specialist supplier to the earth moving and heavy plant industry, particularly in the supply of induction hardened shafts, the company has also supplied to a wide range of other industries. These include motorsport, automotive, leisure, medical, reach equipment and rail industries.

Two ‘Lean Manufacturing’ cells have been established to meet the specific needs of a customer and these have enabled families of parts to be made in an efficient dedicated process. This process delivers short lead times with minimal stock. These cells are located separately to the main factory and, whilst they are currently dedicated to one customer, we are looking to roll out the principle benefits learnt from this exercise to the benefit of other new and existing customers.
